Its possible but its a complete pain in the [censored]. My advice is to buy another frog. I used the straw method, but I only did it because I wanted a certain color.

Its very easy. Go to Wal Mart and get the metallic orange crochet needle. It should be about the diameter of the opening the skirt material is in on the legs. Then get you a about 18-14" of a heavy mono line and some dish soap.

Lay out your skirt material whether it be round rubber or silicone. You can it in about a 6-8" tab. Tie the mono around one end of the tab. Tie another know around the lip of the crochet needle. Push the needle with the know through the legs very slowly and carefully.

Once its through grab the line and back the needle out the same way you went through but hold the line you pushed through. Dab just a bit of the dish soap on the mono between the leg opening and the tab. SLOWLY pull it through the legs. Once its through pull it till its eaven hanging from each leg. Remove the line and cut the tab ends. That is all there really is to it. SUPER easy. Have done it a ton with no issues.

Some frogs like the Spros you can spin the hooks away from the belly. Some frogs you cannot. No need for a knot in the material inside frog either. Use enough strands in the tab so that there is some resistance when pulling it through. That maintains the water seal etc.

Interesting. The straw method is not real fun. I made the skirts, tied a knot, then installed in the frog. Using the tab seems way easier.

I removed the hook from the frog (SPRO). Its not too difficult to pull back through. You can thread line through the frog and pull it up or just do it by hand.

Just spin hook around on the Spro. Takes 2 seconds. No need for the knot in the material. The method I explained literally takes less than a minute after you do it a few times.

I like the medium round rubber the best. Seems better overall for me.

Like Mark said it is very easy to do and quick. I use a folded out paper clip.

Another trick is put baby powder in your box with your frogs and you wont ever have that problem again.

Tried to shoot you a PM - I have lots of round rubber in a bunch of colors - happy to stock you up to do the replacements you have to do- cool part of you can make em any color you want. And can show you how I replace the legs - very similar to Mr Perry's technique...

My best frog the last few years has been a SPRO in Killer Gill with the stock legs removed and a pattern I made up added.

I am in Dallas - happy to meet you when its convenient. Shoot me a PM if you want
