Since I fish out of a 14' tin boat, I try to stay off the big lakes on weekends. However, I was wanting to take my father out and was thinking the 66 ramp may not be terribly busy early morning 7am ish ?

That way we would be out of the wind and hopefully away from all the crazy rec boats. What do you think ?

Also is the fishing near there okay ? assuming hitting the rip rap early morning or just working up the shoreline should be decent in the mornings ?

Thanks for any advice.

Fishing on the other hand was not good at all.
