Sorry about your rods!! I know it doesn't help with your lost rods now but it may help you out going forward. Take about a 10" section of pool noodle and make a spiral cut length wise you can slip them on and off the rods you are not fishing with. I have lost quite a bit of equipment fishing from yaks and canoes so I am extra carful now about tying stuff in and putting floats on stuff.

I got mine back by dragging a slab spoon with a giant treble hook around where it went over board.

If you know about where they went down, you should be able to recover them.

Mine was down for about 7 days... Looked like 3/4 more days it might not have been worth getting back so act fast.

The odds of someone randomly hooking it before the thing is damaged too badly without knowing the location are about like winning the lotto.

Sorry that happened... Its a sinking feeling I know too well.
