I don't post often but finally got one I felt was worth posting. Was caught on a 1/2oz chartreuse slab while looking for sandies on Lavon. Didn't have a scale or tape so don't have an actual weight or length. This was my first flathead and the largest fish I have ever caught. The fish was released.

Thanks for the comments. I was guessing somewhere between 35 -40 pounds. Didn't put up the fight I would have expected but definitely a fun fish to catch.
