Anyone ever camped below the PK Dam? BRA says they have a small campsite with 10 spots at BRA #7. I think it's by the hwy 16 bridge. Me and a buddy were gonna take my son and our yaks and hit the river for a few days. Any feedback on this area would be great. Thx

There is a camp site just north of the hwy 16 bridge on Red Bluff Rd. nice restrooms at this location and just a short walk to the water. You can't put in or take out kayaks there though. It is wayyyyy too steep. There is a ramp at hwy 16 bridge.

its supposed to be good from what I hear..we bank fished that area last Thursday and did ok...but they also shut the flow off while we were there
