Went down to POC for a bachelor party of a good friend from Stephenville. There were 5 of us that went out with Captain Steve Barringer with Barringer Guide Service - 361.983.4712 Capt Steve is an older man (actually he turned 80 on 7/15) and a little hard of hearing, but he was an awesome guide. I hope when I am 80 I can get around as well as he did! I would highly recommend him to anyone that wants to go out of POC. Anyways it was a great trip. We fished jetties with live shrimp and limited out in our Reds. We caught quite a few overs but we didn't tag any. Caught a ton of Whiting. Every time we caught one the Capt would tell us to throw them in the box. They fillet well and fast. We fried them up that night and they were amazing. Caught quite a few Black Drum as well as 3 Pompano. Caught a handful of bonnetheads as well. Here are a few pics.

Did you eat the Pompano yet? You're in for a treat if you haven't had them already.
