I need some kick fins to use with my float tube. I plan to wear breathable waders with neoprene boots, so I will need fins that will slip over the boots. I see some on eBay, Amazon, and other sites, but if any of you know which ones work well, that will help me avoid ordering a pair that have problems. Thanks.

Go to Academy and get US Diver fins. I like them because they have a full heel to prevent wearing a hole in the heel of your waders. Some brands just have an adjustable strap. I have a size large for going barefoot with a swimsuit and a size extra large for going with waders.

Waders in the summer? No thanks. I'm strictly shorts sitting directly in the water during the summer and waders in the winter. I have to use the strap fins cause they don't make a full heel fin for my big azz feet

Spider Jig, I'm sitting in the water this summer, but will need waders when the water temperature drops. Not sure just how long next fall/winter I'll be able to use the tube, but will see.
P.S. I have a pair of old waders my buddy gave me that I'm wearing barefoot this summer.

Power Lizard, I was in Academy this morning, but didn't see any that I thought I could get on with neoprene boots. Will have to look again. Thanks for the reply.

My foot size is a 10.5 and the XL US Diver fins are a tight fit with the Academy brand breathable waders and SmartWool socks. They would not fit over a sock, a breathable wader and a neoprene bootie. If you are using all 3, you may need to find a dive fin with an adjustable heel strap.

Power Lizard, I think you are correct. Right now, I'm looking at Outcast Float Tube Fins. They strap on and will fit over any sock, wader, and neoprene boot.

I think I have a pair of the Outcast Float Tube Fins in my garage. It may be a different brand. Mine strap on over a boot. They came with a Hobie Float Cat I bought used. I didn't like how they stayed on my feet and the fin part was too stiff. I gave up on them when I switched to US Diver Fins. Let me know if you are interested in them. I can find them in the garage and send you a picture.

I use these. They are made by Classic Accesories, they are the turbo thruster style. Very sturdy with very strong clips unlike most clips that come undone at random times. They are a little more expensive than most but work wonderfully.

Thanks for the information guys, very helpful comments. Spider Jig, those in your picture look like they would go over a sock, wader, and neoprene boot ....right?

OK, placed order to Amazon for a pair just like the ones in Spider Jig's picture. Read reviews and all were good. Look like just what I need. Thanks for helping me make an informed decision.

I got mine at bass pro but they stopped carrying them. You can find them online though at other places. They distribute water better than any I've ever used. I highly recommend them

Do all fins float? That could be important if they are dropped, come loose or the straps break, etc.

OE No. Some float and some don't. I don't know if my US Diver fins float.
