I was out yesterday with a client and like the report given the day before it was hot.(430p-930p) The week and weekend traffic seems heavy and will be probably till September when school starts. The water was 86 degrees in some areas and 90 degrees in others. The flooded tree areas look really good for fishing early morning and late nights. Most of the bites we had were around the flooded trees and underbrush. Spinner baits, whacky rigs, shaky head, and crank baits were the baits of choice used for the evening, Most of the bites were off the shaky head with a rodent type bait. We spotted a few good sized fish around 5-8lb range in some thick flooded cover but they spooked real easy and the ones that stayed didn't seem interested. There were alot of bait fish in area but nothing seemed to be chasing them. I hope this helps on your next trip! The fishing can only get better from here!

I believe there is 04champ, we were fishing the evening hours of 430-930p and really thought we get a shot at some good fish with the bait fish swimming in and around all that cover.

Nice report. Thanks for sharing.
Now that you know where some of the big bass are hanging out; go back there and throw a swim jig long distance staying off the spot. Throwing a spinner bait as far as you can chunk it back into the small pockets should produce also.

Great idea! I've had success on the KVD swim jigs sun perch color in the past out there along with the blue/black KVD swim jig with the same color sweet beaver trailers for both jigs by Reaction Inovation. Thank You Donald maybe we will cross paths out there someday.
