Step #1. Catch the fish. Step #2. Get the fish weighed by a certified scale. (Scale that had been calibrated by a State certified scale company with in the past year.)#3. Take three photos. A. Photo of Angler holding fish. B Photo showing the length of fish. C. Photo of the girth of fish. Step #4. Complete the records application from Parks&Wildlife. (You can down load the application from their web site. Step #5. Send the completed Application along with the three photos to the Texas Parks&Wildlife. The address is on the application.

Side Note: All you need is a picture of the fish's length and a picture of the angler holding the fish. A witness also needs to witness the release of the fish.
