Anyone throw these? Thoughts? Academy here has me for $3.48. I'm partial to yellow magic but thinking of trying a few. Thoughts?

I like them, not my favorite but they look good and catch fish. Good stock hooks too. It's not a yellow magic but its a good bait.

I'm still a Pop R fan. Me and my friend try to use different brands of the same lure just to prove a point. He, the Yellow Magic, me a Rapala or Pop R. I honestly can't tell the difference.

I'm definitely a YM guy but bought my dad a couple! top water is his favorite(isn't it everyone's?!)! I was actually pretty impressed! I tie a loop knot and it walks a little like the YM and spits very well to! I wasn't impressed with the hooks! A little on the light wire side for me! But All in all I like them! Not surprising to me bc I'm a SK guy

I've had pretty good luck with them and the sexy dawg. Caught a 6 1/2 lber on Athens Sunday morning with one. Lost my YM I've had for at least 15 years during the tourney though...

I am a believer in the strike king and yellow magic pop r baits they both cause a good bubble and sound.

Never used them but I find it hard to believe that they can compete with Yellow Magics or Rico.

I still catch as many fish with the old Heddon Chugger Spook as I do with my yellow magic.

Well, I spent about 3 hours with my 8 year old on the boat and threw the mess out of one. I threw the chrome sexy shad 1/4 oz model and the smallies absolutely wore it out. It looks like I took a ton of sand paper to it. Good bait for sure......
