When you pull into the marina, stay left (Southeast), away from the Elks lodge toward the office. Find somewhere to park along there (you will be facing South) and take your Truck tag# and your Boat TX# into the marina office(where the gas dock is at the North end of all the slips) with you. The window on the right as you go in is where you fill out and sign the waiver and pay $5. Then go prepare your boat for launch before you go to the ramp. Head to the ramp where there will be a guy that tells you which lane to use. I launched and pulled my boat around to the left (West) of the ramp as you are looking at the ramp and beached it there in the soft mud. Truck parking is in the grass between the slips and the Elks Lodge. Take out follows the same route, left as you come in the Marina and make your way around to the ramp. This process is really easy if you have two people but a little longer when launching solo. Even though it was a zoo Saturday, it was organized chaos and I did not really have to wait too long to launch or get out. I heard the office opens at 8:00 but that you could go the evening before and pay for the following day. Hope this helps!
See you on the lake and have a great day!

The sand bass are going nuts, but they are starting as early as 6:30. Customers had 50 fish limit yesterday by 8:00 and we were picky on what we kept. Bassbuster1 covered the ramp. Loading up on the weekends will require some patience.
The black bass fishing today was off again.

any guess as to what water level the lake needs to get to before the corps starts opening up some of their ramps.

When they closed the lake on May 10th it was at 638.61. We will be very close to that in the morning. But they have to wait and let it dry out for a while To avoid damaging where the blacktop ends. Plus there needs to be a lot of cleanup at some of the ramps. If lucky just a week, but probably closer to two weeks

Also Isle du Bois and Jordan are the highest ramps and were last to close, so should open first.
