Looking for some new reels and just wanted everyone's opinions on which one of the lews they like the most. Looking for both bait casts and spinning but trying to keep it under 200 for each. thanks for any help

I really like the BB1 Pro. You can find them on eBay $150-$165. I have 5 of them and use them for cranking as well as slower baits.

They are pretty light (6.5oz) and very reliable.

Lews BB2 Pro Wide Speed Spool. This is the new reel. It hold 190 yards of 14lb test. It weighs next to nothing, 6.8 oz. $209 Full Retail. Tackle warehouse will discount this reel when they have their sales. Usually on holidays discounts range from 15-25%.

Appreciate the comments. Never herd anything negative about any of the reels but nice narrow it down!

Tournament pros are great. I have a bb1 is use for cranking and those sort of things. I have a team lite great real use it for flipping a lot. The tournament mb retails 139 is a workhorse. I've used it with braid with frogs and a rigs it has been through ALOT and still works flawlessly

Most of the reels lews sell look seem to be pretty darn good. You can get a bb1 pro for 150. To me that's a great deal.

I got mind from that website, it's a safe and reliable place to buy from.

If at all possible get to the store and put your hands on a Lews and a comparable priced reel. You can feel and see the difference. LEWS-er for life.

The Tournament Pros are great reels. I really like the small profile.

Thanks for the comments, always nice getting feed back on here. I know they're good reels but nice to have the right one for different styles of fishing.

I'll second the Tournament MB as one to check out. Fantastic value at $139.99. Magnetic, centrifugal and tension brakes in a small light package that can do anything you need it to. Revo SX has a stronger drag, but I have yet to need more than what the MB has.

I believe it is a better reel than the slightly more expensive BB1. I have not used the Lew's in the $200 range so I can't help you there.
