Buy Lew's...you can't go wrong. Even with the $99 Speed Spool. Great reel.

For a spinning reel the sgh 200 speed spin is hard to beat. It's a 6.4:1 ratio. The price on that is $59.99 the tournament speed spin ts 200 6.1:1 for $79.99. For baitcasters you'll be happy with any over the $99.00 mark. The lfs is an awesome reel. The bb1,bb2, and tournament speed spool are amazing!

Got my first Lews earlier this year. I now have six and intend to eventually convert all of mine to Lews. Even the $60 speed spool performs well. Very light and used one on a frog rod on fork all spring. Caught a lot of big fish and cast really well.

So I have some, and the only one I am looking at now is the super duty...

Here is the lowdown from somebody who had to repair one. A LOT of the parts come from the Revo factory. Like most of them. This is from Southwest. they have said they are good smooth reels, but after a year or so they seem to be coming in a lot. They just aren't holding up... this makes sense, mine did almost EXACTLY what they said....

I would go revo... I used to be a shimano guy but I hate the way they feel now, D series is the last one I liked... I have a tatula, it feels cheep... works well just feels cheep, makes noise, replaced one because of it, new one did same thing...

I put boca's in my tourney pro when it started acting up, that and cleaning fixed it for now... we will see

ALL of the parts come from the Revo factory. They're made in the same plant in Korea
