Question. How much oil should my motor be using? It seems it is using more than usual lately. It is also smoking a little bit. Runs great as it always has. Just wondering if I need to get it checked out.

Mine smokes more if I get the RingFree mix off a bit? I probably burn a gallon of oil to every 40 to 60 gallons of gas, 2003 VMAX 225.

Should be 1 gal of oil per 50 gal of fuel. 50:1 ratio

Check the linkage close. Oil metering rod that connects to the carb linkage can have the plastic keeper break and pump goes to full rich on oil.
