Fished it Saturday afternoon from about 4-dark.(HOT!!!) Ramp was crowded at the marina but doable. Be patient and remember that everyone that would normally be using all the different ramps on the lake are being forced to use one ramp. Take your truck tag number and boat TX number in with you when you go to pay and sign the waiver. Fishing was off for me! I caught a few small ones but nothing to brag about. I graphed some fish on some main lake drop offs and attempted to fish them but the rollers from the wind were knocking me around pretty good in my 19ft boat. I spooked one real good fish (would say 8 plus) way back in a pocket in the flooded stuff and she rolled on my bait but I couldn't get her to bite. They either stocked the lake while it was up or we had a great spawn as there are tons of 3"-4" little bass everywhere. Throw a spinner bait or top water and you will have 50 of those little suckers just nailing your bait all the way back to the boat. The ramps looked like we need the water to come down about another 2' before they are usable but we are almost there! The water was very clear and the lake looks to be in great shape!!
See you on the lake and have a great day!

Noticed the same as well..lots of 3-4" bass I wonder if those are already this years spawn? that would be growing fast doubling in length every few weeks.

danny golden reported lots of zebra mussels on the recently exposed willows. said they are really hard on line. fishing brush piles and timber may get very difficult.
