I actually shocked my wife at Yawakoni on Saturday. She said it sounded stupid. Our results said otherwise.

So what is the technique here? Just bang a stick on the bottom of the boat? Sandjohnny calls it the sand bass boogie!  It does seem to get their attention if they are in the area.

so, if one were so inclined, one could install a subwoofer on their boat and bass (base) the bass to the boat?

Rather than do that, I just bought a Hydrowave with the "THUMPER" module. Thumps and bumps without me getting of my rumps.

Unfortunately..... YUP. You can buy a bunch of pvc pipes for the cost of Hydrowave.... but I fish alone a lot and don't want to thump and try to fish at the same time.
But if you already have a Hydrowave that takes the modules, then all you have to do is buy the module.

Hydrowave mini is like a $100, but doesn't have the thump sound.
