Went with my parents in the big barge today which limited us a lot, but I caught 2 tiny crappie all morning and that was it. We fished the bridge, timber, and some brush. Nada! Still had a good time hanging out with my parents while they enjoy their new boat!

Too bad on the crappie but glad you got to spend time with your parents. Seemed like a tough bite all over the area.

Naconiche has been tough on me the last couple of times I went after crappie. I'm beginning to think they see me coming and hide, but I will never give up.

I love being retired, the check is in the mail.
