Drove through Robertson Park on Ray Hub..... WOW...... bags of garbage and loose garbage EVERYWHERE. Cars everywhere with large groups of people sitting around their cars just hanging out, grass was long and un-mown, roads are in TERRIBLE shape, and people everywhere. It was pretty incredible. But the trash was the worst, absolutely amazing to see trash all over the place, and bags of garbage just piled up. Pretty pathetic. If you somehow find this a relaxing scene, please tell me how this makes you want to go out on the water and enjoy a day on the lake. What a cesspool.

I hate to agree but its true. Disgusting .. So much so I moved my boat from Harbor Bay. When the lake was down so low tires and trash everywhere and the marina did not clean it up at all.. WTH ?? I scoop up trash with my net every trip. The people bank fishing and leaving trash need to be arrested. I don't understand. I know RH well and can catch there but will not go back.

Sut it down. Close the park tell those trashy people got to hell...Get off our lake. You can't pick your trash up you can't play..

That area of the lake has been in limbo for years mostly b/c the city of Dallas (not surprisingly) horribly mismanaged it as they do to just about everything they touch. They stubbornly kept an interested buyer like the city of Rowlett at arm's length for way too long when it was obvious that the smarter choice would be to let the property go.

I'd prefer a redone lakeside park, marina, and ramps...but a new shopping center is definitely a big improvement over what is currently there.

Actually there were many deed restrictions on the donated park lands by the family who donated it.

There was a lot of red tape and many hoops to jump through to get it sold.

My guess is eventually that ramp will be shut down as well. Maybe Rowlett will clean it up and make it a decent for fee ramp to help pay for improvements.

Twok is definitely a gem. I were a suit and tie every time I drive thru west twok. Really a classy place
