Although I have 3 or 4 DD14's I don't think I've ever caught a fish on them. Most of my fish are on DD 22's and Deep Little N's. Has anyone used them and done any good...?

Thanks,
Bobby

Never test the depth of the water with both feet.

I used to throw them around intermediate depth wood cover and caught fish on them, but caught more on Bagley DB2 and DB3. The Normans were a cheaper alternative and had a good casting weight for heavy line. If I had no concerns about price I would fish the Bagleys a lot more. I've not fished the Bagleys for awhile due to the fact that I had tuning problems with some of them and had to buy extras.

Love me some DD14

Great mid depth crank with a bigger profile than most

They would be even better if more than 1 out of 5 would run straight. Love the baits just hate weeding through the ones that can't be tuned.

Seems to be the only model Norman that has these issues for me.

Norman had a couple bad molds. You're right, about 80% of them had the lip molded on crooked! You could actually look at them straight on and see the lip was crooked.

Was this just an issue with the 14s? I've only ever had a few DD22s that didn't run well. Maybe I've just been lucky?

It is from my experience. The rest of the Norman lineup has been excellent

I caught a 9.17 bass on Falcon several years ago on one. They are a good bait to throw in medium depth water, if you want to dredge the bottom. They are a relatively big bodied bait with a medium runner bill on them. GREAET to present something just a little different. Hope this helps.

Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.
