I'm looking for a cabin for my wife and I to relax for a couple of days on tawakoni. Something with a marina to stow boat in evening would be cool. Restaurant not far away would be ok too.

I would stay at shoestring farms. The marina is across the street. Cool cabins and a great country breakfast is included every morning.

Try anchor inn...

Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

1+ shoestring, very country home atmosphere, great company in Am (all fishermen sitting around the breakfast table also, you can get some pointers for the day) Fantastic breakfast. very reasonably priced. The down side is they're often full!!! LOL. Good Luck!

My significant other and sister just built 2 new cabins in the woods off Duck Cove. They are part owners of Duck Cove Trailer Park and you can use the boat ramp in the RV park that is only 2 blocks from the cabins. Cabins have full kitchens (coffee makers, microwave, full stove and oven, dishwasher, sink, etc.), separate bedroom from kitchen and living areas. There are BBQ grills outside, you enter through private gate so your boat and vehicles are secure. Call Pam at 903-560-1599. Rates are reasonable and these cabins are brand new with all amenities.

There is nothing like having a slip to put your boat in while you are on vacation. That is a must have 100% requirement for me and the wife anytime we take the boat with us.
