Headed to Canyon Lake for the wknd, could anyone point me in the right direction to find some fish. Any help is appreciated.. Thank you

This time of year we use to catch Stripers on live bait near the Dam just to the NW of the large pillar furthest into the lake. Also lots of largemouth and small mouth on the dam riprap. As you leave Turkey cove the large rock point to south is usually a gauranteed bet for a few smallmouth and largemouth on small plastic worms in natural colors. Usually you can catch some bait on the Turkey cove boat ramp if you have a cast net.

Just an FYI canyon can be tough at times.
