Considering my first new boat order and I'm not sure what level of discount to expect. I would appreciate any insight or experience you might wish to share. PM will be fine.
Thanks!

Discounts come over time with the dealer you are buying a boat from every two years. Your discount increases every time you walk in the door with a customer and help close the deal on that customer's purchase of a new or used boat.
I have a new 2015 Skeeter that is discounted if you are interested.

In my experience it hasn't been very much. Maybe 5% which is why I've never purchased a new boat. I usually buy a 2 year old boat. I don't think the dealers have a ton of room to work with. Ironically, I felt like the best deal was a new bass cat which I see you own. Good luck!

Only exception is if (like Donald said) you're bringing other customers to them and they're willing to break even on your boat to make it up to you. But that's not common. My boat was bought new in 1997, so my experiences are mostly anecdotal from others.

My experience is make a reasonable offer and let them tell you no. Wait a week if they don't call you go up on offer a little. I wouldn't buy new. listen to Dave Ramsey that is how the rich stay rich.
