just got stationed in Wichita falls and looking for decent fishing that aren't 2 hours away. any help would be appreciated.

I can't help you up there but check back cause I know there are
Several guys that fish that area and do very well.

Arrowhead is a great catfish lake, and it's not too far. Fresh cut shad, not the Wal-Mart packaged stuff, in 5 to 20ft should find some blues fairly easy.

I have scouted arrowhead already just looking for more options thank you though, any one know any thing about north fork buffalo creek reservoir?

What species are you targeting, channels, blues, flats? Bank only or boat?

prefer blues but fish is fish and will be doing bank fishing until tax return comes in then will be getting a boat(thinking about a kayak though)

I'm really no help for blues if arrowhead is off list. All the new water make it hard to find a bank spot or just too far?
