 Need sharp hooks

Was checking my bluegill bait keeper and long shank hooks last night. They don't seem very sharp. Pull the point across my thumb nail and it doesn't stick, little sharpening stone doesn't help them very much. What kind/brand of hooks is the sharpest now-a-days?

I use Mustad gold Aberdeen hooks mostly. I have never had problems with dull hooks. One hint: always use gold plated hooks. Otherwise a little rust can ruin a new hook in the small sizes we use.
Bait keeper hooks are not as good for sunfish.

Bait keeper hooks are not as good for sunfish. Plus #1 on the Mustad hooks however I use the regular size 6 cricket hooks. They have always worked GREAT! As for the sharpest hooks I would say Eagle Claw. Just my two cents.

Eagle Claw and you won't worry about sharp hooks again. I know they sink deep into my fingers even after repeated use!

I feel your pain, FTID! I went out for about an hour Sunday just because I had a bit of time and I wanted to test out a new rod. I started getting bites when I found the sweet spot and immediately wished I had brought my fisherman Gerber because it has a hook file on it. I ended up missing more fish than I caught and had a few come off halfway before I could get them to hand. Hopefully, I can make a post/report later tonight. But again, I feel your pain.
