Got info few days ago from several people about how to bake bluegills. Forgot to ask if they baked them whole, or fillets. I'm thinking the fillets are so small, don't know if they would bake well. But thought I'd ask which way is best?

They are great baked but I like em fried better! I have baked em both by fillet and whole they turn out good each way. When baked whole I leave em in the oven a little longer than the fillets. Make sure they are golden brown! thumb

Fried, baked,or grilled! It's all good. The more you prepare and fix Bluegill meals the better you get! The main point to remember is not to over cook em!
