I have an 8' power pole, but I never use it if I'm deeper than 6' of water. No issues will mine and I have had this brand on 5 different boats. In deeper water, I use my i-pilot.

Yeah you're right about the 6 ft of water thing. I have 2 blades and if they fully extend they area pain in the rear to get them to come back up.

I have 10 footers on mine, have had them all the way down a couple of times, never had a problem getting them back up, they were a little slow at first and then they pick up pretty quick. Call PP and ask them about it.

Yeah it's not just every now and then it's every time if they ever fully extend. If not fully extended they work flawlessly. I'll call them and find out

Make sure all the bolts that run down the side of the blades are not over tightened... As they come they feel lose so most are inclined to tighten them up. However they are set to allow the poles to Move as needed. If you tightened these the poles will not come up as easy as they went down.

But they go up and down perfect. Until fully extended then don't wanna come up. I'm still waiting to hear back from them

I would like to know what they say. I have two poles on mine. I have experienced this issue with one of the poles. I had to engage my motor and idle until that pole hit something to give it a nudge. It then retracted normally.
