I am bringing my boat down for a blue wave owners tournament next weekend. Any advice on boat friendly and safe place to stay near there? I have never fished Galveston, any advice on areas to fish for trout and reds and how far is it to some decent offshore if I wanted to do that for a day if the weather cooperates. Thank You

You will be close to the jetty's, been pretty good there with all the fresh water in bay pushing the fish toward the gulf. It would have to be pretty calm before I would venture past the jetty in a Blue Wave. East Bay reefs are holding trout, but man, it is crowded out there.

The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president.
