Lowrance Pro-Staff will be at West Marine from 10A-2P this coming Saturday. You also can see the new Ranger Z520C, the Evinrude ETEC-G2 & a pair of 10' Talons in the parking lot at the store. The boat features Lowrance Sirius Radio, Spot Light Transducer & the Point-1 GPS Puck.

SOFTWARE UPDATES - If you need your HDS-G2 or Elite units updated, don't hesitate to bring them over to West Marine Saturday from 10A-2P.

Rob I just got a gen 3. Will these be up to date out of box.

New units out of the box stand a good chance of being updated, but it depends on how recent the update came out versus when the unit was manufactured. If you can find the ABOUT selection on your unit, see if it has the 2.0 release which is the latest version. You will love the Gen-3 product for sure!!!

Thanks Rob what map chip is compatable with the unit? I normally fish on Texoma

Most common mapping Chips that are used with Lowrance units are Navionics & Lowrance Pro. I will have both Navionics and Lowrance mapping in the unit so you can compare the two.

Does that include HDS Gen 1's or only the newer models?!
