Megabass just unveiled a new rod series designed for U.S. market called the Levante. It consists of 12 models and if you have ever wanted to try a Megabass rod this just might be the chance. Preorders will be taken by MB dealers. I will post the pix and specs very soon.

Here are the rod descriptions. I will have high res pix in a bit.
LEVANTE Blank descriptions
From our hands to yours. Harnessing decades of Japanese design expertise, Megabass built the LEVANTE to the precise needs of North American anglers. Each model features a multi-axis blank and the latest innovation in Japanese carbon, PYROFIL, to unlock the potential in each and every cast.
F4.5-70C Flat-Side Special
The F4.5-70C is the ultimate treble hook stick, ideal for crankbaits, jerkbaits, and topwaters in shallow-water applications. With that all-important smooth, parabolic bend for sure hooksets, the F4.5-70C loads confidently for accurate casts and safely landing keepers.
F5-610C Spinnerbait Special
The F5-610C is built for power, versatility, and pinpoint accuracy. The 610 length and medium fast taper combine to deliver superior load characteristics for close-quarters accuracy and decisive hooksets, bringing spinnerbaits to life.
F5-72C Diablo Spec-R
Excellent for vibration baits, swim jigs, Texas rigs, weightless worms, and even larger jerkbaits like the Oneten Magnum, the F5-72Cs fast action and perfect balance provide effortless performance.
F5-72CG Swingfire
The F5-72CGs composite blank transitions from graphite to glass, offering an otherworldly combination of carbons lightness and backbone, and glass forgiveness and feel. Perfect for fast moving crankbaits, and squarebills like the S-CRANK.
F5-75C Extreme Mission Type: F
The F5-75C is built both for bombing casts and accurate close-quarters pitching. The 75 length and fast taper loads quickly and smoothly for explosive hooksets and control. Ideally suited for vibration baits, vibrating swim jigs, jigs, and light Texas.
F5-711CG Launcher
The F5-711CG has the powerful carbon backbone necessary to launch deep-diving cranks, and that smooth, parabolic bend for sweeping hooksets. The glass tip section delivers just the right amount of forgiveness, capturing bites with confidence.
F6-70C Tour Versatile
The F6-70C is built to inspire confidence and control. Designed with a fast taper for casting and pitching jigs and worms to cover, the smooth loading blank is also ideally suited for larger topwaters and frogs.
F7-72C Perfect Pitch
The F7-72C delivers the power of a flipping stick with the maneuverability of a casting rod. Perfect for pitching, flipping, and casting jigs and worms in heavy cover, the F7-72C is designed for precision accuracy and devastating hooksets.
F8-79C Flipping Special
The F8-79C is outfitted for medium to heavy duty flipping and pitching in the heaviest cover. With a perfect blend of lightness, balance, and power, the F8-79C delivers the versatility and control to perform a 10ft flip and 30ft pitch back to back.
F9-711C Leviathan 711
The F9-711C is built for maximum power and control for big swimbaits, punching, and umbrella rig applications. With a carefully tuned handle length for comfortable casting and rod work, the Leviathan brings a new level of dominance to your arsenal.
F3.5-70S Shaky Head
The F3.5-70S has the perfect balance of tip softness and backbone necessary to bring soft plastics, small paddletails, shaky heads, and smaller hardbaits to life, combined with the length and taper for decisive hooksets and control.
F3st-610S Stinger Shot
The F3st-610S brings unparalleled bite detection to the drop shotting game with its ultra-sensitive STINGER TIP. Designed for light line nose-hooking and wacky rigs, the STINGER TIP is a trigger that responds to the lightest pressure, landing tough bites.

Mark can you say if the Leviathan and Launcher are going to be 2 piece rods like in the XX series? Just to clarify the XX models are not 2 pieces. They simply have a handle that is removeable. At shows and promo events I often take those 2 models and let guys see and hold them. After they tell me how impressive it feels I will then remove the handle. Have not had one person yet be able to tell the handle is removeable. All that being said the Levante Launcher has the removeable handle but the Leviathan does not. Thanks

Just to add some more info from MB in regards to the Levante you should see about 10% less sensitivity , slighter heavier rod, difference in lifting power than the XX. In addition the Levante will have about 10% more durability because of the Pyrofil.
As far as the Levante and the Hyuga series differences they are both two totally different blank designs and specs even though both use Pyrofil.
This is information straight from MB and hopefully helps answers a few more questions. I hope to have a couple in my hands here within weeks and as I get them and fish with them I will offer my thoughts on them. Thanks
