DO WHAT!!! lol There's more fish eat out of Murvaul in a week than Long John Silvers will serve in a years time. I mostly crappie fish Murvaul in the winter and spring. It's got some huge crappie in it. This time of year look for brush piles or maybe shoot docks. Excellent big bass lake and channel cat fishing too.

Murvaul is a good crappie lake, I fish it regular as it close to the house. I caught 50 or so last Friday but only had 13 keepers, unusual as the average is usually pretty good. Caught fish from 12-18 FOW 12-14 down. Brush piles are the norm and electric chicken and Texas toast are good colors.

There is no consumption restriction for Murvaul. See the list here.

It has been years since I fished Murvaul but it used to be great for bass, crappie and catfish.
