Friend Ed D and I went out from 7 to noon. Overall it was a tough fishing day for the structures we fished with 20 fish the most we caught at any one structure. That was at Game Warden Hump. We ended up with 63 fish: 37 whites, 4 hybrids to 23 inches, 5 cats, a drum and 16 keeper yellow bass. We started at Enchanted Isle Ridge but only caught 2 cats there. Lena Horse and etu showed up there right after we did (hope ya'll had a good day). We also caught a few at Merimac Point, 3-Jug Hump, Mid-lake Hump and Long Ridge. I kept trying #2 vs #4 Mepps and still doing better on #4. Fish caught in depths of 15 to 20 fow. They seemed reluctant to bite requiring Ed and me to add extra action like occasional jerks and alternating fast and slow retrieves on same cast. I'm still thinking we just didn't go to the right spots, but, alas, we ran out of time. Here are some pics of trip:

Dennis- Since you didn't mention it, I take it you didn't see any surface action yesterday morning?

We did not see surface action any at all.
We had about 50+ total with 2-3 good hybrids. We marked ton of fish but they would not hit. Wind was more than reported which was great for the hot temp.

Thanks for the report Dennis, I've really enjoyed reading your reports and following your advice had definitely helped put more fish in the boat. I'll be headed out to CC on Friday morning to try my luck. Thanks again for the info and don't be afraid to say hello if you see me out on the water. I'm in a yellow/white skeeter.

@GoBears870: I didn't see any surface action while we were out, but from my house I saw 2 congregations of boats several hundred yards south of Crappie Island between 6 and 8 PM. My guess is they were surfacing there.

I went out on Friday with a friend and we caught fish fairly easily at iron wall hump and enchanted isle. Went back on Sunday with another friend and hardly caught anything at iron wall hump. What a difference a day makes. As always thanks for sharing information.
