The Marina is already sold out for Basschamps Championship. Who knows of other places there that are boat friendly parking and charging of batteries?

We stayed at the Days Inn in Bossier City last year, and they boat parking was pretty good, and was easy access to the marina @15 min away. Place was really clean, and the staff there went out of their way to make sure we all were well taken care of.

I had no inside info! As soon as they posted it I started calling. Line was busy for 2 hrs before I could get thru. Apparently, there is also another tournament going out of there and most of there cabins were already booked...

Not sure what you really meant by that comment but I could care aless!

I booked a cabin at red river marina on the way home from practicing form fork the first time for the tournament that got cancelled. February I think. They told me then that there were only a few cabins left then. I made a guess that they would go back. There is no other venue that champs goes to that can pay that kind of money. Plus it's a fun tournament because there are very few local advantages and you get to practice before. I am honestly not good enough and have not been fishing these lakes long enough to actually be able to adjust on the level in one day you need to to win and I know it. Not going to stop me from trying.

So I am assuming allot of other anglers did the same thing and reserved a cabin. the question is will they be ready by then?

Booked me a RV spot back in May because I Knew it would be a mad scramble for a spot , I was hoping they would go back to the RR. So I'm already gambling and I'm hot

So odd they host a tournament in a city without sufficient boat parking hotels...never understood it
(with any trail)and investors have yet to capitalize on it besides the one marina and it was built for the BASS Classic in mind.

I don't c how Yall r complaining there isn't enough parking. There is tons of parking!! Holiday inn off Pines road is where MLF stayed with a ton of boats. Zero issues. La Quinta inn on old minden rd is where elites and open guys stayed. Several other places. I can fit 3-4 boats in my yard if anyone needs place store it when come prefishjng and don't wanna haul it back

Here is a good article on the subject. It's all about tournament friendly hotels in the Shreveport/Bossier area.

Grew up in Louisiana and have family that lives in the Shreveport/Bossier area. East of the river and the further east the better.......
