Is it just me or has anyone else noticed how slow the cats are biting on tawakoni? Went there in June and last week and caught way below the numbers we always catch. Still caught some but normally we limit out in a hour or two.

That's how it's been for me on Ray Hubbard this year.

That's what we were figuring also. I'm still catching good blues on eagle mountain though

I have heard the bite was slow but has started to pick up on Tawakoni. I have been striper fishing for months now but i got a chance to catfish on the red river after my trip last sunday and did pretty good. Landed 10 2-5 pound blues in less than an hour running my striper rigs, I missed way more than I caught too. But I will be back out there this weekend and I plan on bringing tackle to target that size fish and fill my deep freeze for an up coming fish fry.

I've always wanted to go striper fishing but just can't get away from the cats
