I just recently decided to try a new setup and went with An Okuma thundercat rod, and an Okuma Epixor series reel based on the info I gathered online. Does anyone use these setups for catfishing ? That's the majority of what I do with the occasional trip down to the beach for some surf fishing when my brother is in town on military leave. Just wondering if anyone has good or bad things to say about the reel. rod seems solid , just wondering more about the reel. Thanks -T

Buddy of mine used to have one. Should handle just about anything you fish for. He loved it until his gear was stolen.
