Hello all. aint been on here in a few. currently enjoying some more of the middle easts finest sun breeze and endless beach. lol this is actually the best run ive had over here. 24/7 chow and 3 gyms! H3!! yeah!
Wife and kids made it back there for the 4th of july and man do I miss texas. On a good not she picked up 2 1.75's of Texas Whisky for me! That will be a nice treat when I get my butt home. Nice tasty beverage, fire up the smoker, sit on the back deck and just watch the trees, bugs, listen to birds and kids fight. lol wil be nice.
Just wanted to check in. Have a good one all. I gotta go check out the pics!

Thanks all!
Yep chow aint bad at all. 8 hardboiled eggs and 4 cups of oatmeal a day! The rest is chicken breast and rice or noodles but it aint mre's. lol
Was talking to one of the cooks here and he said his biggest complaint is from the Navy and Army guys coming in from other bases complaining about not getting the steak and lobster once a week! STEAK AND LOBSTER! Oncce a week. lmao. man I wanna know where they were at for their last combat det. that's insane.

When I was in Afghan we did a convey escort mission to BAF. And we got steak and lobster one of the night we were there. It was unbelievable. Definitely went through line again. That was one of the only times I got to eat like that.

Have a good one all. I had a nephew in the Army and he wouldn't eat the lobster in Iraq because he said it would ruin his love of lobster forever after that. When my son was there, he raved about the MREs. Of course he came home from boot camp raving about how great the MREs were. Meatloaf was his favorite, so I made homemade meatloaf for him. He apologized before saying it wasn't as good as the MREs. I woulda whupped him for that, but I no longer could.
