Hey guys,

I'm finally about to get in the kayak game after years of putting it off.

Currently looking at the Jackson Cruise 12. Does anyone know what the difference between the regular Cruise and the Cruise Angler?

Reason I'm liking the Cruise is that I fly fish a majority of the time and it has the least amount of clutter to get caught up in...and this being my first kayak, it looks to give me the most options to rig it how I want.

Also, as far as a paddle goes, I'm probably going with a 240, but unsure if it should be low angle or not with the high seat.

Any other thoughts on this kayak would be much appreciated before I pull the trigger.

Thanks!!

The Cruise 12, $949, comes in bright recreational colors like tiedye, creamsicle, sprite, etc. The Cruise 12 Anlger, $1049, comes in hairy man colors like forest camo, dorado, gi jackson, sexy shad and comes with one rode holder. I think it is a solid choice for fly fishing. If you are interested in a demo of this kayak give me a call 817-461-4503.

Thanks Josh. I think I have a solid lead on picking up a slightly used one for a steal, but I'll at the very least need some help and tips getting it rigged up.

I may come by later this week once I pick up the yak and get your thoughts at the store.
