Be aware that severely under powering a boat will destroy your fuel mileage. Get a 150 like those boats are designed for, you'll be happy when a storm rolls in as well...

I have a Stratos and wish I had a skeeter. Whatever you choose get the max HP or as close to the max as possible for the brand of outboard and a 24 volt trolling motor. Even if you don't want go full throttle if you ever want to sell or trade it will make a big difference. Motor is most of the value of a boat along with brand and warranty.

Trade or sell is a big issue as mentioned... get the max outboard on that count too.
Yeah, I'd take a 21i if I could "take", lol... Grounded in a 274 for the time being...
New Stratos or Nitro will work for the OP for weekend warrior stuff, no? Especially if the price is right smile

I traded my 2014 Stratos 189 VLO Rude150 in on a Phoenix 919 a month and a half ago at Fun n Sun. The Stratos is loaded with led lights, graphs that are set right, two power poll blades. Only has 65 hours on motor. You should call them and see if they still have it. It's a really nice rig. Three props for it. Runs in the 60's. Just thought I would pass that along.

What do you throw next
2015 Phoenix 919 PRO XP
Upgraded to 2 Helix 10 Mega units
Upgraded to an Ultrex

Both would be nice. I've been without a boat for a month and a half now. My new boat is still two weeks away and I've contemplated taking my neighbors bass buster out! Lol.

On a serious note. I'd take the Z6. It will have a 115 hp motor and is plenty of boat for an occasional angler. And they can be bought cheap enough.

I run a Z6. It's been a great boat. I don't think you will find a bigger front deck than the Z6 in that size class. It's plenty fast and rides very well for a boat of it's size. Only complaint so far is that the rub rail has come loose in a couple places. Everything else seems great quality especially compared to the 01 Nitro we used to have. We bought ours from BPS in Garland. Service department there is top notch. That can't be said for all bass pro's.

Ride in both, talk to different dealers and do your research on them. Buy the boat you want...they all catch fish.

Personally I would never buy a new boat. There are so many new used ones out there for a fraction of the price of a new one. They are out there. You just got to find them.

I'm not a fan of the Nitro or Stratos. A nice clean gently used Ranger, Champion, Skeeter, 0would be my choices.

If it ain't yours don't mess with it!

Z6. A Stratos in the same price range is going to be severely underpowered.
Check out this article it's a good read for someone in your shoes.
