If you were buying one quality baitcast drop shot rod in the less than $200 range then what would you recommend. I have a TFO medium light drop shot rod that I like, but I would like one more from a different company. Several companies make medium light baitcast rods, but few seem to make a specialized drop shot rod. The Abu Garcia Villain and Volatile medium light rods were recommended to me as well as the Daiwa Procyon rod.

Come try one of our Bushido Drop Shot rods at a starting price point of $190.00 built at Lake Fork. You will not beat our warranty. This rod is used by a lot of anglers in the Lake Fork area as well as a few guides on the lake.

I looked at a bunch and bought a Daiwa DXI661 MLFS and it has been an excellent drop shot rod for only $89.99

I use a St.Croix Premier 7' medium action with fast tip. Teamed up with a Shimano Calcutta 50 baitcast reel 10 lb flurocarbon line. It doubles as my tube jig tool along with other small stuff. Great all around rod and reel.

There you go guys. Take this rod out and see for yourself how sweet it is! I can't tell you how many customers I've let fish this rod and they ended up buying one. Very light, super sensitive and loads up great. I've caught a lot of big fish on this rod also. Not including lifetime warranty.
