took the kids to waco it was more or less a night mare from the start we got out late of my house like 7 so it was past 8 when i launched my older sons friend over slept i told him he is 19 we ill be dropping the anchor in a sec get ready next thing i hear is splash i looked over he thought very thing over the rope to and i had my 5yr who didn't really want to go so it made it even more fun fife stayed home it made it even more frustrating even more so if she was not catching fish the lake was high but i was still finding them in all the same places in about 4ft of water we pick up 24 to take come and had a whole bunt of dunks 11 1/2 in to 10 in on the counter at the end of the day there were 28 throw back we fish for about 3 hr we caught some really nice fish for the short time we were there I would be longer but even with the top on it was hot and my daughter was getting tired from reading in all her fins plues mine on poked her and he slapped him and said i am going to eat you for dinner that went on for about and hour in between the fussing and her running over to call the fish bad and he was her dinner if my battery was not dead i wold have taped it

all caught on Chemdawgs Bait , slip cork , a rebel hook and a small spit shot above the line we had a few sanp the 12lb leaders I use. here are a few pics that bottom one she caught was 4 lb on a pink princes fishing rod. it was a pretty good day considering every thing i did meet a guy who was camping there when i was loading up that has some chease bait but only had 7 fish for 2 days i gave him a 16 0z jar and my card if he wanted me to call me and he could get it i a lot with me when i go with in 2 hours they when through the whole jar and has 17 keeps he picked up 5 larg jars

and while loading up i there was a father and son next to me they fishd 2 days and had one caftish i showd him cooler and he had no idea how to catch catfish i talked to him a bit and he wanted he and his son really want to lean to catch cats. so i guy book for for almost the whole week next weeked

We were out Thursday and only caught two 20 inchers and a bunch of bass. But hey, that's one more than we usually catch.

only while she was catching fishing so i would let he real in ever fish i had i would set the hook and the ask her to hold if for me for and surprise there is a fish on the other end in between it was fussing i am hot how come not fish are bit my hook but it was a pretty protudive day we did not fish long a few hours and did pretty well lots of drinks all females i clean had egges in them still

Waco is only one foot above normal pool.

it the highest i have ever been on it where i have alway seen land is now water all the stumps in the shallow you use to see you dont see them any more it looks a lot more the just a foot high but i checked it and your right i gues i have away seen it way down any how the fishing is still good for the few hours we were there. lost and ankor and and with the little wind there was made it hard to set up on the up side i make a bait custom and a guided trip
