So guys can weigh in 5 fish for 2.74 or 4 fish for 1.76. A minnow bag or a 1 gallon zip lock would be the perfect weigh in bag.

We caught about 6 fish all day and they were all in about 3 feet of water.

Fishing is a challenge. Adapt to what it is. Fork is a challenge and you have to adjust to it. Yes it's a awesome lake. Yes it is a slot lake. But at the end of the day there were 268 boats that showed up. On any given cast you can catch a over. On any given cast you can catch a slot. On any given cast you can catch a under. If you don't like it don't fish it. Quit complaining..... If you are a good fisherman except the challenge! I personally like the challenge. It took me a few years of weighing in 5 for 2 pounds to adjust and try and find the bigger fish.

Get two more big ones on but lose them. Back to first spot with 15 minutes to go they finally show up, and we put two sevens in the boat befor time runs outs. Had over 25 pounds and no keepers. I agree! It's a great lake and the slot evens the playing field for all in tourneys!

Way past it's prime??? I don't know of any other lakes that you can consistently catch 4 and 5 lbers. and complain about it because they are slots!

The slot is what keeps bass in lakes thriving, what makes fork a fine bass fishery, those slot fish get another year or 2 to grow. Bass fishing is suppose to be a sport and challenging why we use artificial lures and 2000000$ worth of graphs fishfinders, trolling motors, rods and reels.

It's Fork and Rockie summed it up well.

I used to fish a lot of tourneys on Fork and have not fished one in 3 years on Fork, until yesterday.

Bass Champs events are always well run and enjoyable to fish...

grown men worried bout what other grown men are doing with their money...

Fork is awesome but pizzes me off more times than not. Mainly because we just can't figure em out. But I'll dang sure keep fishing it... Like someone else said.... Not many places round here you can catch 3,4,5,6 lbers consistently. Not me....others can. lol
