Hey everyone, I'm Barry. I've been kayak fishing for about a month, thanks to my buddy, Cody Carpenter. I went out with another friend last night (trying to spread the Wildy love) to the pond under George Bush and Luna and did pretty well. Got a couple sandies and a catfish. I just joined the forum a couple weeks ago, and I wanted to introduce myself. Hope everyone has a great Sunday!

Welcome man! I've fished that pond maybe half a dozen times. That whole area looks so fishy. I've caught a couple largemouth there, which is what I fish for, but haven't had the success it seems like that place would offer. Still like to go there, neat place to paddle around.

Welcome and good luck with your yak adventures. That looks like a cool place to go. What kind of depth does that area under the bridge offer?

The deepest I saw was 8 feet. Most of it is between 4 and 5 feet. Some good covered banks and coves to fish in around there too. I'll definitely hit that spot again!
