I have a 1989 Yamaha pro v 150 on my skeeter. The advance timing arm sticks sometimes. It frees up with Wd-40, but I don't know if that is good for the motor. What lube can I use to keep the arm working freely under the flywheel.

I would not recommend anything with oil in it. WD40 actually will make it worse after drying. Electrical cleaner and air. I have had a couple that required removal to clean.

So would electrical spray cleaner be better? Is corrosion x a spray lube?
