Had my first Sailfish experience and I'm hooked! Now all future vacations I'll scout out the local Billfish action. Used Quepos Fishing Adventures http://www.queposfishadventure.com. I highly recommend the American owner John S. and the American captain John W. and mate Alex. This is a top notch crew that got 5th place in World Championships. They run a very economical operation with best prices and fishing grounds close to Quepos. I was there in the slow season and it has been particularly slow lately, but I still landed 5 Sailfish up to 103" and a Mahi-mahi that went 61". Evidently December to April they expect 10 Sailfish days, not uncommon for 20 fish day, and 5 is considered slow. They also get a Black Marlin every few weeks. 103" Pacific Sailfish 61" Mahi-mahi Bottom Fish for Dinner 5 minute highlight video
