 Lowrance elite question

Need help!
Just bought a lowrance chirp 7 head unit only.. Went to hook it up and it won't turn on!!! But the power cable I have has a red end on it. And the color of the end on the back of the depth finder is blue. But it goes right on there.

Red on my elite 4 and blue on my elite 7 earlier version. Both power cables work on the 7
xducer blue cable works for both and elite 4 and the 7
maybe the existing fuse in the power cable was not rated for your 7, and blew ?

Yeah I just went and hooked it up to another guys 7 whose works. Mine doesn't even turn on or attempt to

Yeah. I even took it to my buddies who has a elite 7. Turned his on. Then plugged mine in to check it out. Nothing
