Gonna be visiting family this weekend and would like to catch hybrids at benbrook. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Been tough for me for years. The regulars say that live shad is the key, if you can catch some.

2 weeks ago did fairly well trolling ledges with Blueglass shad raps and #9 shad raps. Last Sat had got some shad and drifted same place we trolled and did not catch a fish in 4 hours. Ben Brook is like that. Fish one day and scales the next. Marked lots of fish Sat they just wouldn't bite. Only person I know catching fish consistently is Dan with D & D Guide service. I think he is fishing in the heat of the day with bait. I will be out there Sat. with my grandson. Good luck!

It's been real tough the last few days and I have fished all over the lake ...... went and looked for tracks on the shore to see where the got out of the water...LOL as they say that's fishing...Benbrook is like that one day you get them and the next day you don't. Live bait is you best bet this time of year on main lake points
Good Luck!

Marina is open but it is was a little snaky unloading and loading last Sat. If Dan is having trouble catching fish, I will probably go somewhere else. Thanks for the update Dan By the way, me and Dugan are kin.
