It is small, fish for ??? reason are much tougher to catch. Like you, not sure why.
If you ever get on the lake you will see it has all the trappings of a great place to fish and good structure for them to breed and hide/feed.
I like the lake, but it gets frustrating when they are not biting but, that's not the fault of the lake but mine.

Don't know about the numbers but after talking with Marine Biologist at TPWD at Lake Worth, they ARE in there (DD). It is regularly stocked and checked. But, man that lake can be frustrating to fish.  Have to attribute all my lack of success to myself..... God BLess

From what I've heard, Marine Creek's Florida strain bass are very finicky. I've fished it a few times, but not enough to know the structure of the bottom real well. I've charted some very large looking fish in the deep water though.

Only big fish I've pulled out of there are some flatheads on crankbaits  , awesome fish congrats!
