That's lit up like a Christmas tree. My graph doesn't look like that.

It's a Bird.

Amber 1 and the settings were on 17 and 8. Play with the setting every stop if the bottom hardness and depth changes.

If we are ever on the same lake, I will do my best to help out.

Thank you sir. I'm going out for a little while in the morning. I've got an 898. I will tinker with it a little bit.

The screen shots can look quite different between a Lowrance and huminbird. I'd gladly meet up with you Kirk and scan these spots right behind you so we can compare notes.

Tommy, I did check them, 11 drops produced 11, 10 to 14 inch blue cats. I did catch one black crappie and assume the majority of the fish were blue cats so I moved on.

Now you know why there is such a hard return.

Cormorants underwater are not that impressive, just looks like little zoom marks or air bubble trails.

I wrote cats last night but didn't want to ruin it for everyone so I edited and hint to 2d. No matter how excited you get you never know for absolute sure till you boat one or two. I've sat on spots like that till I caught one just so I could get a reference of what I'm seeing on my graph. Things have changed and your rocking with the times. I got my eye on you kirk. woot

Nice shots Kirk! I also adjust my settings all the time depending on depth or bottom of the lake changes (hard/soft). Also have an 898. The bigger graphs would be nice but the 898 gets the job done.
