Haven't posted recently so I thought I would share today's catch with y'all. I got really bored earlier so I threw my rod in the Jeep and drove over to one of the ponds near my house. That's the best decision I've made all week! That was the only big fish I caught all of the others looked like this: And this: I guess I should go fishing every time I get bored!

That pond probably could benefit from "throw out every bass under 14 inches" rule. It can change a pond from having tons of small bass to one having a few trophy bass and many good bass vs tons of undersized fish.

On the east side of the pond there is a really shallow and narrow part that almost looks like a creek. Every fish in there is under 10 inches.

Robert,
The fish did look pretty slim for this time of year. I might have to go over to the parks office and talk to them about culling some fish.
