Rose petal jelly
1 cup rose petals
3/4 cup water
2 1/2 cup sugar
Juice of 1 lemon

1 package Sure jell
3/4 cup water

Trim white from edges of petals and combine with water and blend until smooth. Gradually add sugar and blend until dissolved and then add lemon juice.
In a small saucepan, mix your sure jell with the water and boil for 1 minute. Add rose petal mixture to the pot and remove from heat. Pour into jars and seal.

Yep. It's amazing stuff if you've never had it. Well worth the effort. I haven't made it in years, but there's some stores where you can still buy it. I will suggest getting the old antique style rose petals versus the modern hybrid teas. They have more scent and flavor... and it's less likely they've been sprayed with chemicals.

Can you use the rose petals like from a florist shop?

I wouldn't. They are soaked in chemicals and pesticides to make them look perfect. They're not produced for consumption.
