I know a bunch of guys who have the 2-3k bird or lowrance and only know how to turn it on eek that hurts me lol. but i recently have been diving into my little system to learn all of it's bells and whistles. i have been using casting circles for a while but many didn't know what i was talking about so i did a video. shot iin 720p

I had not idea about casting rings. I have always struggled with what you said about staying on a waypoint and not really know where I was distance wise in relation to the waypoint. I will have to check that out.

On the Lowrance graphs they are called range rings.
